Our stock turbines
Frame 5
The General Electric Frame 5 is a compact heavy-duty prime mover designed for long life and ease of operation and maintenance. The GE Frame 5 represents the most well-known turbine of its range, combining the technology of aircraft engine design with the ruggedness of the heavy-duty PGT class of turbines. A low operating and investment cost makes the Frame 5 package power plant an economically attractive system. Indicative Output ranges for the unit is 18 to 23 MegaWatts.
Frame 6
The General Electric Frame 6 type gas turbine has indicative output ranges of 35 to 45 Megawatts. The unit is a single-shaft, heavy-duty gas turbine known for its reliability and represents the widest range of applications: simple cycle, heat recovery application, combined cycle and mechanical drive.
Typical turbines we can supply:
Frame 7
As a simple, reliable and medium sized designed packaged power plant, General Electric’s Frame 7 lends itself to flexibility in plant layout. In addition, the GE Frame 7 can be utilised in a diversity of applications from power generation, industrial to cogeneration. With design emphasis placed on energy efficiency, availability, performance and maintainability, the GE Frame 7 has indicative output ranges up to 85 Megawatts.
Frame 9
A single-shaft, heavy-duty gas turbine developed for generator drive service, the General Electric Frame 9 offers indicative output ranges for the unit up to 125 Megawatts. Since GE Frame 9’s first introduction in 1978 the gas turbine has gone through numerous continuous improvements and is designed to burn a variety of liquid and gaseous fuels.
Ruston Typhoon
The Ruston Typhoon is a single-shaft industrial gas turbine designed specifically for electrical power generation and cogeneration applications. The compact generator package encompasses the gas turbine, gearbox, generator and all systems mounted on a single under base. The Ruston Typhoon generator set can operate on a wide variety of fuels, providing an economically and satisfactorily power package for onshore and offshore applications.
Ruston Tornado
With a unique and straightforward design, the Ruston Tornado single-shaft light industrial gas turbine comprises a mechanically coupled Compressor and Power Turbine rotor. An ideal unit for industrial power generation, the Tornado is particularly suited to co-generation or combined heat and power applications. The Tornado’s design allows full site maintenance to be carried out including full dismantling replacement of major components and overhaul as required.
